2017 Release of Liability

What should you do with the Release of Liability form?

Have each participant in your group fill out a Release of Liability form. Collect them and then send them to us.

  1. Send them via Mail OR send them via Fax to email to moreg@apu.edu
  2. Bring all remaining originals with you to Mexico, those you still have in hand at departure.

New Assistant Director for Mexico Outreach

I want to share some good news with you.  Ron Aramburo has been promoted to the Assistant Director for Mexico Outreach.  Ron has served faithfully in Mexico Outreach for many years.  He is the critical link between the APU Mexico Outreach team and all of the ministries in Mexico.  I am so thankful for Ron and his passion for connecting American high school and college students to responsible, long-term ministries in Mexico.  He is well respected by everyone that he works with in Mexico and represents APU and Mexico Outreach so well.
Please congratulate Ron on his enhanced role.

Tent Crew for 45 Years!

2015-45-year-anniversaryMy first year was 1983! I was a student at APU and some friends in the dorm said, “Come with us and help on TENT CREW.” I pictured my idea of what a tent crew was and I was completely off. Eddy Calderwood, Director of Mexico Outreach, still to this day goes down early on “tent crew” to set up the base camps for the arrival of groups from around the country. It’s a fun tradition! We set up a few tents, but most of the work involved getting the kitchen in place, security set up, and always a taco run or two! I made some lifetime friends during those trips.

Sandals!

2014-easter1-ens-3The second best perk on event staff is what’s in the picture. Have you had one of these? It’s called “sandal” in english, because it’s oval and big enough to be a sandal for your foot!

The best perk on event staff isn’t the food! It’s seeing Jesus change lives and set people free! It’s such a privilege to support the work in Mexico.

2014-kids-campJoin our event staff. We are fun to do ministry with, but it can be hard work! Our staff appreciates your donation of service and vacation time to be with us!

If you are up to the challenge, we need more event staff for Mexicali and Ensenada. Areas include food service, sound techs, first aid, and operations. Contact Eduardo Irizarry for more information at eirizarry@apu.edu
