  1. Hi Ron,
I talked with you in April and wondered if there is anything I should know before bringing my team to Mexico this summer. There are 11 of us coming from Clovis and this is our first time! While our church used to come consistently in the past, no one coming this year has ever been before (technically I went with APU to Mexico back in the 90’s but I don’t think that counts!).

I’ve completed paperwork and have gear together for sleeping, transportation and such, and now the only missing component is what we’re actually going to be doing while we’re in Mexico – the ministry itself! I’d like to give my team a general idea.

My team is arriving Saturday, June 24th and will be leaving a tad early, on Wednesday morning of the 28th. We have other events going on that we have to come back for. My hope is that once this initial trip happens, our church will elevate missions and give a priority to Mexico trips each summer! Anyway, with our shortened stay and only 11 members, I wasn’t sure if you’re going to have us tag along with another church just to get us acclimated with how typical sites work? I wasn’t sure if you have a few names of potential sites we could visit and get a sense of where our Mexican site will be for the following year (as well as assess the needs of that community and get a layout of parks/schools/church, etc…). Anyway, if you could email me back or call me with an idea as to what I can expect and share with my team that’d be great!

Thanks so much! I look forward to seeing you in Mexico in just a few short weeks!
